Here’s a photo from my set at Roffapalooza last weekend in Meadville, PA! Great energy and thank you to those who came out to show support for your local community!
My song ‘Love In Jealousy’ is in the running to win a featured spot on the CW’s ‘The Vampire Diaries’ television show, but 1/3 of the judging process is YOUR VOTES! It is of course, and unfortunately, listed incorrectly so just look for my photo with ‘Craving’ under Anna Rachocki. You may already be aware of my obsession with anything vampire romance related so this would be a dream come true! Thanks for your support!
The wait is over, Anna Zoe’s tour t-shirts are in! After weeks, possibly months, of collaboration with the New York City based singer-songwriter, we are both certainly satisfied with our final product. This is the second t-shirt I designed for Anna and it is always a great experience when I get to work with her. The woman is a so creative, I love helping her getting her ideas down on paper, and I find it so rewarding to see my work as a finished product and in print.

Tristan, a pretty sick drummer and human being, and I Skyping with his brother Aaron, my guitarist, in Korea last night… 2012 TOUR CAN’T WAAAIT!
The official “Someday” music video is finally here! Thanks to Andrew Garces and Tracy Pendergast for all their hard work in making this video come alive!
Exactly one year ago today, I spent a week at the Hogar Rafael Ayau Orphanage in Guatemala City. It was a life-changing experience and I cannot WAIT to return! It was hard not to feel guilty for feeling so changed and inspired after my visit, when I was the one who was supposed to be helping them!
I remember asking the one teenage girl what she wanted to be when she grew up, and she replied, “A secretary …” and I looked at her with a smile, and then she continued, “…or a singer!” That moment is when I realized no matter what part of hte world we live in or the experiences we have had, we truly are all united by our passions in life, regardless if “someday to you, means never to me.”
The kids were more than happy to participate in the music video, as well as some awesome friends of mine in NYC! Please feel free to share it with your friends and family, to show your support for these amazing future-adults, and children everywhere!
Peace. -AZ :D
It’s officially official! YAY! Go listen now dammit! :D
I mean’t to write this blog on Tuesday morning, after I got back to NYC from being gone for 3 weeks but… needless to say I’ve been busy playing catch up! I don’t think I’ve been more excited to get back to NYC and the hustle and grind than I have been this week. It’s a little overwhelming because I have SO much I can be doing at every given moment, but I welcome it because it mostly involves somehow promoting my new album. :D
I had our annual camping trip beginning of August in NW Pennsylvania which was of course, an awesome time, just a little too long for me … 10 days! Definitely will shorten that trip next summer. Then I had a wedding the following weekend in Cleveland, so I stayed back for another week instead of driving back and forth wasting more time and gas money. With all the weddings and what not this summer, I’ve been gone just as much as I’ve been in NYC. I long for the “long, lazy days of summer” I remember as a kid!
Just Skyped with my guitarist Aaron who’s currently living and teaching in Korea. Since he won’t be back until end of November, we’re pushing our tour back to January 2012! Sorry for the delay but it will be well worth the wait, I promise. ;) Stay tuned for exact dates and locations, send any requests my way now and we’ll try to make it to your town!
XO -AZ :D
