Ahhh… the Metro System is one of the many things I do NOT miss about living in NYC!
I’d like to launch an awareness campaign aimed at rude New Yorkers, written in a style they’ll understand, so that one day, maybe, they won’t be quite so shitty.
I should note that most New Yorkers are completely wonderful, caring people. It’s just that some of us seem to enjoy the “New Yorkers are assholes” thing a bit too much.

Interesting piece here… a guy in Raleigh, NC made and posted signs to show people how far and long it would take to walk somewhere, as opposed to driving. It also talks about the differences between old cities being designed for walking, while newer cities were designed for driving.
After living in Jersey City (on the Hudson River directly across from Manhattan) for the past 4 1/2 years, and now currently living on a dairy farm in rural Pennsylvania, I do miss being able to walk less than 10 minutes to public transportation, the post office, the grocery store, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Staples, restaurants of almost every cuisine, the pet store, AND a mall.
I’ve never been more grateful of my Prius as I am now that I literally have to drive EVERYWHERE. Although, I still wouldn’t give up the fresh air (and yes, sometimes manure)!
Shit New Yorkers Say. Too funny! Thought this video was fitting for today as I leave NYC for an undetermined amount of time…
The set list for tonight’s show in NYC… Will I see you there?
Had a great time at the WIM Holiday Party last night! With my girl Blake (https://www.facebook.com/blakemusic) in this photo. Yes, that is a PBR in my hand and shoulda worn that red lipstick afterall …

I’m pretty sure shoveling up garbage and debris and throwing it back into the Hudson river is not what your boss told you to do today…
I mean’t to write this blog on Tuesday morning, after I got back to NYC from being gone for 3 weeks but… needless to say I’ve been busy playing catch up! I don’t think I’ve been more excited to get back to NYC and the hustle and grind than I have been this week. It’s a little overwhelming because I have SO much I can be doing at every given moment, but I welcome it because it mostly involves somehow promoting my new album. :D
I had our annual camping trip beginning of August in NW Pennsylvania which was of course, an awesome time, just a little too long for me … 10 days! Definitely will shorten that trip next summer. Then I had a wedding the following weekend in Cleveland, so I stayed back for another week instead of driving back and forth wasting more time and gas money. With all the weddings and what not this summer, I’ve been gone just as much as I’ve been in NYC. I long for the “long, lazy days of summer” I remember as a kid!
Just Skyped with my guitarist Aaron who’s currently living and teaching in Korea. Since he won’t be back until end of November, we’re pushing our tour back to January 2012! Sorry for the delay but it will be well worth the wait, I promise. ;) Stay tuned for exact dates and locations, send any requests my way now and we’ll try to make it to your town!
